This website presents Maindh_Lab, a laboratory within DICEA at Università Politecnica delle Marche. This page describes its features and provides institutional data protection contacts.

Browsing and contacting us
Delivering and securing the website involves transmitting technical data, including IP address, requested resource and browser information, to its hosting infrastructure. This website is hosted through Sites, rather than the www.univpm.it portal server. Its current code does not activate Google Analytics, advertising pixels, newsletters or data collection forms. Email links open your mail application. Sending an email voluntarily provides your address and message so that your request can be handled.
Aggregate statistics and private area
The counter stores only daily totals by page and source category, retained for up to 400 days. It does not store IP addresses, visitor identifiers, search terms or individual browsing paths, and does not use cookies or fingerprinting. It respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Technical data are still transmitted to the infrastructure when requests are made. The statistics dashboard is restricted to the website manager; access uses platform-managed Sign in with ChatGPT and the account data needed to verify authorization. These matters must be included in the institutional service review.
External resources and preferences
Sketchfab viewers and tours hosted on dhekalos.it and marcheology.it remain blocked until you choose to enable them. Once activated, providers receive connection data and may use cookies or similar tools under their own notices. Gigapixel images request data from distori.org only after the viewer is opened. Embedded media preferences are stored only in your browser; see the Cookie policy for details. Social and other external links lead to independent services with their own notices.
Rights and processing information
You may contact the University or its DPO to exercise applicable rights under GDPR Articles 15–22 or request information. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority. The University sets out the legal bases for institutional processing in the relevant official notices linked below.
Scope of this information
University portal notices apply to the services they describe; linking to them does not automatically extend their scope to this hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers, log retention, any transfers outside the EEA and the relevant safeguards must be documented with the DICEA privacy contact and University DPO. This page does not certify completion of that review.
