This project documents fragile heritage through a Virtual Interactive Movie (VIM), making it digitally accessible. Osimo’s caves beneath Palazzo Campana have long been closed for conservation and safety reasons. Visitors can walk through a faithful virtual replica, guided by narration and lighting that tell the story of the site and its bas-reliefs. The workflow combined 3D laser scanning and photogrammetry, modelling and optimisation, and implementation of the complete user experience on Meta Quest 2.
