Extended reality was applied to museum experiences. Based on a detailed study of The School of Athens, an immersive VR installation allowed visitors to the Raphael and Angelo Colocci exhibition to explore a 3D reconstruction of its famous architecture, entering the fresco guided by Raphael himself. The available virtual tour explores the exhibition in Jesi, marking 500 years since the Urbino artist’s death and his relationship with the Jesi-born humanist.
