This research studies Raphael’s The Marriage of the Virgin through a 3D model of its architecture and scene, analysing perspective, architectural orders, proportions and composition. The model was developed into an HTC Vive VR app in Unreal Engine. Visitors explore the painted architecture, receive audio information and compare it with the painting: when they reach the original viewpoint, the figures appear in their depicted positions.
