This project created a VR experience for Oculus Quest 2 in which the voice of the Picene queen of Sirolo-Numana guides visitors through her tomb and its finds. In a 3D environment, users can hold virtual artefacts and examine fine details, accompanied by original music by Prof. Francesco de Melis. The app is based on careful digitisation of Picene artefacts and virtual reconstruction of their settings. A digital library brings together the resulting models, allowing visitors to explore them in 3D, read information sheets and view HD images.
